Islamic dream interpretation

Islamic dream interpretation means to explain your dream in the light of Islam. Islam is based on two things one is Quran and another one is Sunnah. All of the solutions are presents in the holy book Quran. This is the foundation of all Islamic knowledge. A good dream is in the form of Wahy from Allah. Dream means the information or the action that is performed secretly or something inform to someone secretly. In Islamic point of view, a dream is divided into three types.

1-    Ru’yaa

2-    Hulum

3-    Dream from one’s self


These are the Arabic words. Ru’yaa is considered in the good dreams. Hulum is considered in the bad dreams. Abu Hurayrah narrated Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said,” there are three types of dreams. A righteous dream which is glad tidings from Allah, the dream which causes sadness is from Shaitan, and a dream from the ramblings of the mind.” (Sahih Muslim).

In dream dictionary ibn Sirin dictionary is the most famous dictionary according to the dream interpretation. Ibn Sirin wrote Islamic dream books in the light of Quran and Sunnah. In most of the interpretations ibn Sirin use the word “May”.

In the dictionary of Ibn siren’s Islamic dream interpretations, they said that you must have to listen to the dream carefully and interpret them in the light of Quran and the Sunnah. Wrong interpretation is a sin so if you don’t know the answer so be silent.

There are many of the dream symbols and meanings. A symbol can cite a feeling or an idea and has a much wiser and deeper meaning than any word can explain. Some of the dream categories are.

These symbols have their own interpretations according to Islam. Time of the dream defiantly matter.
